The ACADC5 combines high-resolution front and rear recording with wide viewing angles, enhanced low-light imaging and intelligent alerts that provide an added level of awareness behind the wheel.
The ACADC5 records the road ahead in 4K Ultra HD at 30 frames per second and captures rear-facing footage in 1080p Full HD at 30 frames per second. Both cameras provide a wide 140-degree viewing angle, creating useful front and rear coverage without depending on an excessively distorted view.
A built-in 3-axis G-sensor can detect an impact and protect the associated emergency recording. Each event clip captures approximately five seconds before and fifteen seconds after the detected event, helping preserve the moments surrounding an incident.
The ACADC5 uses computer-vision technology to analyze changing conditions around the vehicle and provide audible and visual notifications. Its available driver-assistance functions include:
These alerts are supplemental driver-assistance features and may not identify every vehicle, pedestrian, lane marking or hazard. They do not replace attentive driving, safe vehicle operation or driver judgment.
The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS CMOS image sensor to capture improved detail in darker driving conditions. Super Night Vision supports clearer nighttime footage, while Wide Dynamic Range helps balance bright and dark portions of the same scene.
These imaging technologies can make a meaningful difference around bright headlights, streetlights, signs, deep shadows and sudden transitions between daylight and darker areas.
Wide Dynamic Range helps retain detail when intense light and deep shadow appear in the same recording. It can improve the balance of footage when entering or leaving a tunnel, driving toward direct sunlight or recording nighttime traffic surrounded by bright headlights and illuminated signs.
Both ACADC5 cameras use wide 140-degree lenses to capture more of the roadway around the vehicle. Professional placement is especially important: the correct mounting locations help maximize usable video, reduce unnecessary obstruction and give the AI system the view it needs for proper calibration.
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the camera to a compatible Apple or Android smartphone through the VOXX ADAS app. Users can review or download recordings and adjust compatible settings without removing the MicroSD card from the camera.
Built-in GPS records location and driving information with the footage. The integrated 3-inch color display provides convenient access to the camera view, system menus and visual AI alerts inside the vehicle.
The required VOXX ACADCHW parking-mode hardwire kit is included when the ACADC5 is professionally installed by Access 1 Alarm & Audio.

Installation starts at $150 and varies by vehicle. Certain luxury, exotic, European, electric, hybrid and other vehicles requiring additional disassembly, wiring or integration may require additional labor or vehicle-specific parts.
With the ACADCHW hardwire kit professionally installed, the ACADC5 can monitor for impact events while the vehicle is parked. When an event is detected, the system creates a protected 20-second recording to help document activity around the unattended vehicle.
The hardwire kit is not included in the $299.99 retail camera package. Access 1 includes the ACADCHW kit with professional installation starting at $150.
The retail package includes the ACADC5 4K front camera with 3-inch display, 1080p rear camera, 64GB MicroSD memory card, adhesive mounting components, rear-camera cable, 12-volt vehicle power adapter, USB-C cable, trim tool and setup documentation.
The camera supports compatible FAT32 MicroSD memory cards from 32GB through 512GB for customers who want additional recording capacity.
