The DVR-C310R was Alpine’s first premium front-and-rear dash camera bundle. It combined Full HD recording, Wide Dynamic Range processing, impact-triggered recording and smartphone connectivity in a system designed for permanent vehicle installation.

The Alpine DVR-C310R recorded Full HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second. Its 140-degree viewing angle provided broad forward coverage for documenting traffic incidents, road conditions and surrounding vehicles.
Wide Dynamic Range technology automatically adjusted exposure and white balance during changing lighting conditions, helping produce clearer recordings in bright sunlight, shadows and other difficult environments.
The DVR-C310R was designed to protect the vehicle while driving and while parked. When properly installed and configured for parking surveillance, an impact could trigger the camera to preserve footage associated with the event.
Parking-mode operation required the appropriate permanent power connection and proper vehicle integration.
Recordings captured by the DVR-C310R could be viewed on a compatible smartphone using the Alpine Recording Viewer app.
The app provided access to live camera views and recorded files and allowed supported settings to be adjusted, including impact sensitivity, parking mode, camera brightness, memory-card storage and system configuration.
App availability and compatibility may change over time and are controlled by Alpine and the applicable mobile app stores.
The Alpine DVR-C310R originally included a 32GB MicroSD memory card. Wi-Fi connectivity allowed compatible recordings to be reviewed and transferred through the Alpine Recording Viewer app without immediately removing the memory card from the camera.
As with any dash camera, important recordings should be downloaded and preserved as soon as possible so they are not eventually overwritten by normal loop recording.
The DVR-C310R included a primary front camera and a secondary camera. Depending on the installation and vehicle, the secondary camera could be positioned to record through the rear window or monitor activity inside the passenger compartment.
Professional placement helped provide useful front-and-rear coverage while keeping wiring concealed and accounting for vehicle trim, airbags and other factory safety equipment.
Although the Alpine DVR-C310R is no longer in production, Access 1 Alarm & Audio continues to offer premium front-and-rear dash cameras, parking-surveillance systems and professional installation for drivers throughout Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
