7254V Programming Instructions

Responder LE 2-Way SuperCode Remote Control

The following Learn Routine is used to program this replacement transmitter to the system. Programming is performed using the button on the vehicle's windshield-mounted Control Center / ANTENNA.

STEP 1 - Prepare the System for Learning
1 Open a door.
2 Turn the ignition ON.
3 Press, release, and then press and hold the programming button on the Control Center / Antenna.
4 The Control Center LED flashes and the siren or horn sounds one time to confirm the system is prepared. Release the button and proceed to the remote-learning procedure below.
STEP 2 - Prepare the 7254V Remote for Learning
1 Press and hold the FUNCTION button until the transmit LED turns on, then release the button.
2 Press and hold the REMOTE START button until the transmit LED flashes 3 times, then release the button.
3 Press the LOCK button until the siren or horn sounds to confirm the remote has been learned.
4 A sequence of chimes should sound from the remote to confirm successful pairing. If the chimes are not heard, make sure the system is still prepared for learning and repeat the remote-learning procedure.
