Many factory car alarms monitor doors, the hood and other security inputs but may not detect when a vehicle is being lifted or tilted. The Directed 507M Digital Tilt Sensor can add vehicle angle detection to a compatible factory alarm system, helping identify potential wheel theft, vehicle jacking and unauthorized towing attempts.

For compatible vehicles with a factory alarm capable of accepting the required sensor integration. Additional equipment or custom integration, if needed, is quoted separately.
When the factory alarm is armed, the Directed 507M establishes a reference for the vehicle's current parking angle. The sensor then monitors changes in vehicle position that may indicate someone is lifting the vehicle to remove its wheels or attempting to tow it.
When a qualifying tilt condition is detected, the sensor provides a trigger signal to the connected security system. A compatible factory alarm can respond by activating its horn or other available alarm outputs. Actual response depends on the vehicle and the integration method.
The 507M is an accessory sensor, not a complete alarm system. Your vehicle must have a compatible factory alarm or security interface capable of responding to the sensor's trigger signal. Not every factory alarm supports this upgrade.
Our technicians will verify your vehicle's security system before installation. Digital tilt detection supplements existing alarm protection but does not independently prevent unauthorized unlocking, key programming or vehicle starting.
Factory key fob-controlled upgrades rely on compatible factory security functions. For additional protection independent of factory disarming commands, ask us about a dedicated aftermarket alarm with its own remote control and available starter-disable features.
