The Directed Electronics 507M Digital Tilt Sensor adds an important layer of protection to compatible vehicle security systems by detecting when a vehicle is being raised, tilted or moved. This makes it an excellent upgrade for vehicles with aftermarket wheels, lifted trucks, performance vehicles, trailers or any vehicle at risk of wheel theft or towing attempts.
Each time the vehicle is parked and the alarm system is armed, the 507M references the vehicle’s starting angle to provide accurate tilt detection. Once activated by the armed output of the security system, the sensor monitors changes in vehicle pitch, yaw and motion to help detect lifting, jacking, towing or unauthorized movement.
