Viper 7211V Programming Instructions

Make sure the remote start system is disarmed and the status LED has been off for at least 60 seconds.

Open the driver's door.

Turn the vehicle ignition to the ON position.

Within 10 seconds, press and release the system's valet/programming button once, then press and hold it. The status LED will flash and the horn or siren may provide confirmation that the system has entered remote-pairing mode. Continue holding the programming button.

While continuing to hold the programming button, press the START button on the 7211V remote. The horn or siren should provide confirmation that the remote has been learned.

Release the programming button, turn the ignition OFF and allow approximately 60 seconds for the system to exit programming mode.

Test the remote. The 2-way 7211V should provide audible and visual confirmation when a command is successfully received.

Programming procedures can vary depending on the specific Viper, Python or Clifford system installed in the vehicle. If these instructions do not work with your system, verify the system model before attempting additional programming.

The Viper 7211V is the current replacement for compatible systems originally using the discontinued Python 7211P and Clifford 7211X 2-way LED remotes.
