Programming Information

A working control module must already be installed in the vehicle before ordering these remote controls. Programming instructions are included and require access to the vehicle's valet/programming switch. Video programming assistance is available through our YouTube channel.

If you have an older system that uses a separate programming button instead of the windshield-mounted antenna control center with the integrated blue LED and programming/valet button, we recommend adding a replacement valet switch to your order before attempting remote programming.

Note: Make sure the system is disarmed, and the LED is off a minimum of 60-seconds prior to beginning the remote pairing process.

Preparing the system

1. Open drivers door
2. Turn the ignition ON.
3. Within 10-seconds, press and release the valet and programming button once, then press and hold it. The status LED begins flashing and the siren/horn (if connected) sounds to confirm the system is ready for pairing. Let go of the programming button.
4. Press the "REMOTE START" button of the 7117V transmitter. The vehicles horn/siren will honk if connected. You have now successfully learned the remote to the vehicles remote start system.
5. Turn the ignition OFF and WAIT approximately 60 seconds.
