PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS:
Standard Programming: This method to program additional or replacement transmitters does not affect the Unauthorized Transmitter Alert (UTA) feature. Before you begin, have all transmitters which are to operate the system at hand.
- Turn the ignition “on”.
- Within 5 seconds of Step 1, press the Valet Switch 5 times. The siren/horn will briefly sound, confirming that the system is ready to learn a transmitter code.
- Press the “lock” button on the transmitter. The system will chirp the siren/horn once to confirm that the remote was learned.
- If a code is not received within 10 seconds of Step 2, the learning process will automatically exit.
