Programming instructions are included with the package and require access to the valet/programming button on the windshield-mounted antenna. Viper 7858V LED 2-Way 5-Button Remote Programming Instructions

The following routine is used to pair this remote control to a compatible system.

Remote Pairing Mode

1. Open a door.
2. Turn the ignition ON.
3. Within five seconds, press and release the Control Center button one time.
4. Within five seconds, press and hold the Control Center button. The status LED begins flashing in single-flash sequence and the siren/horn sounds, if connected, once to confirm the system is ready for remote pairing. Release the button.
5. Press and hold the UNLOCK button for eight seconds. The transmit LED will illuminate and the remote will emit one long beep indicating you have entered Pairing Mode. Promptly release the UNLOCK button.
6. Within two seconds, press and release the UNLOCK button. The remote will exit Pairing Mode if this step is not completed within two seconds.
7. Wait several seconds for pairing to complete. If connected, the horn or siren sounds indicating the pairing procedure was successful.

To Exit Pairing Mode On The Remote Control

Wait 30 seconds without pressing a command button on the remote control, or press and release the F button once, then press and hold until the transmit LED shuts off.

Programming Routine Exits If Any Of The Following Occurs

• The open door is closed.
• The ignition is turned OFF.
• There is no activity for an extended period.
• The control button is pressed too many times.
