Utilizing the factory navigation screen, our camera interfaces allow for multiple style backup cameras to be displayed. From the appearance of the factory looking stealth mounted cameras to the license plate frame camera with its wide view, each camera displays an outstanding high resolution color image even in low light conditions at night.
On newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles the camera integration module will display Rear Dynamic Parking Assistance Lines that move along with the steering wheel position. Further, a second video input can be used for any other composite video source, such as a FLIR Night Vision or front view camera that is activated automatically when you place the vehicle in drive or can be turned on by pressing a the "Return" button of the steering wheel controls for 3 seconds.
We have a solution for all Mercedes-Benz vehicles, unfortunately some are more expensive than others when trying to maintain a factory look due to the design of the factory radio. Some factory systems it is recommended to replace the complete radio/display with an aftermarket system due to cost considerations. Remember, not all Mercedes-Benz's are created equally.
As with all of our OEM integration's, the camera and interface come complete with a 3yr/36,000 mile warranty both parts and labor. Our most common camera is the FLIR thermal imaging system, bringing you the same technology to your vehicle as our military and Law Enforcement agencies utilize, such as aerial drones and stealth aircraft to vehicle mounted units on the HUMVEE’s and police SWAT vehicles. These units are designed to provide the user the ability to see in the night when there is no or limited lighting conditions.
Other options is the use of an infrared camera, however the optics are nowhere as near the quality of the FLIR thermal imaging camera and is susceptible to wash out from oncoming lights. Most infrared cameras need a separate infrared illuminator to provide light for the camera to operate whereas the FLIR camera does not.

Access 1 Alarm & Audio is kicking off the season with new products from Viper with added features to make your new system even more convenient and reliable to use.
So what's new?
Pretty much everything! With the new Viper Systems even the way we integrate the remote start system to your vehicle has changed. With the introduction of Viper's digital solutions no more are we going wire to wire on the newer vehicles. Today we load a digital remote start system up with vehicle specific software and connect it to your vehicles data system which will send the commands from your new remote control, factory remote control or your smartphone to start, lock, unlock, slide open the doors or pop your trunk. Further, Viper released a few vehicle specific T-harnesses that allow for up to 70% of the wires to be now plug and play with factory plugs. We just unplug your factory harness, plug it into the Viper harness and the reinsert the Viper harness into your factory plug location. This ensures a reliable connection that will not come undone and makes for a cleaner looking installation. Your mechanic or dealership will love us!
