The USB connection allows for high-quality iPod playback and delivers an even faster access speed so you’ll find songs as quickly as you expect to find them on your iPod.

Enjoy up to ten pages of eight shortcuts per user for the features that you use the most, such as:

A new shortcut soft key within all audio and hands-free sources makes it even easier to add sources than before. Share your vehicle with others. Set up “My Favorites” for up to two users. Easily add, delete, re-name, and re-arrange your short-cut icons by dragging the icon(s) to a new location on the screen. Your settings are kept as a personal profile linked to your phone via Bluetooth. The X008U loads your system preferences when your phone is connected, so you can quickly access the features you use the most by simply pressing the “star” button.

ALPINE RESTYLE Your Vehicle - You Won’t Believe It’s Not Factory

Compliment your X008U with a matching Perfect F.I.T. (Factory Integration Technology) dash kit for a factory finished look. Each vehicle-specific Perfect F.I.T. kit matches the shape, color and texture of your vehicle's dash, for a factory-finish look. Each kit comes with all the necessary accessories for the X008U, including vehicle-specific harness, antenna adapter and steering-wheel interface for vehicles with steering wheel control. The universal trim bezel can be used with vehicles that do not have a compatible Perfect F.I.T. kit.

Kits are currently available for 35 vehicle models, and kits for additional vehicles will continue to be added to the program. A universal trim bezel is available for vehicles that do not have a compatible Perfect F.I.T. dash kit.

 Notes:

1.) The steering wheel control functions for Bluetooth become inoperable on this model, as they are dedicated only to Ford Sync functions in this vehicle.  Ford Sync is disabled when installing the Perfect FIT kit.
