The Viper 7345V is a genuine 2-way LCD replacement remote used with a wide range of compatible Viper and Directed Electronics security and remote-start systems. It can replace a lost or damaged 7345V, be added as an additional remote to a compatible system, or replace several compatible legacy remote-control models.
Although the replacement remote carries the Viper name, compatible Directed systems were also sold under the Python, Clifford Matrix, Automate, Avital and Mesa brands. Compatibility is determined by the installed system and receiver/control center — not by the vehicle's year, make or model.

Remote-control compatibility is determined by the security/remote-start system and receiver/control center installed in the vehicle, not by the vehicle's year, make or model.
If a Viper 7345V previously operated your system, another genuine Viper 7345V is the correct replacement.
If you are replacing a different remote-control model, verify the original remote number and installed system before ordering. Compatibility can depend on the system model, date code and Control Center / Antenna installed in the vehicle.
The 7345V must be paired with the compatible security or remote-start system installed in your vehicle before use. Programming requires access to the system's valet/programming button or windshield-mounted Control Center / Antenna.

The Viper 7345V must be paired to the security or remote-start system installed in the vehicle before it can be used.
The correct programming procedure depends on whether your installed system is a Security + Remote Start system or a Security Only system.
After programming is complete, turn the ignition OFF and test the Viper 7345V by locking and unlocking the system. A properly paired 2-way remote should provide confirmation from the compatible system.
