Although the replacement carries the Viper name, Viper and Clifford are Directed brands. The 7347V uses the compatible Directed remote-control platform required by systems that support the Clifford 7341X.
Clifford and Viper security and remote-start products are part of the Directed product family, and compatible systems shared remote-control technology across several Directed brands.
Because the original Clifford 7341X has been discontinued, the newer Viper 7347V provides the replacement 2-way LCD remote for compatible Clifford systems.
You do not need a remote with the Clifford name printed on it for a compatible Clifford system to recognize the replacement.

If you are purchasing the 7347V to replace a different remote model, compatibility is determined by the actual security / remote-start system and receiver / Control Center installed in the vehicle.

The Viper 7345V must be paired to the security or remote-start system installed in the vehicle before it can be used.
