2007 Audi Q7 Bluray DVD Player Integration to Factory MMI System
The classy 2007-2008 Audi Q7 lacks the playback of DVD Video while in park. Access 1 Alarm and Audio offers a custom video integration module that allows 3 Audio/Video sources and a rear camera to be displayed on the factory MMI screen.
This option viewed in the photos, incorporated an external Bluray DVD player mounted in the glovebox. Upon being loaded with your movie, the unit can be controlled via a wireless remote control. Since the Audio is a closed loop MOST optical system with no external audio inputs from the factory, an optical audio interface was utilized to enable an audiophile quality audio signal to be generated on the optical system and played throughout the vehicles speakers.
The Bluray DVD player was also incorporated with the aftermarket DVD headrest system allowing for all the screens to display the same movie or 3 different movies.

Time and time again we hear from many people across the nation or read the stories online in forums that the vehicle was broken into or worse, stolen and had an aftermarket security system installed on it. First by definition an alarm is a signal that warns or alerts while security is the state of being protected or safe from harm. Two different terms each describing an aftermarket or factory system, but which one would you prefer for your vehicle?

Currently this is an alarm system as it will warn or alert anyone within ear shot of the vehicle. Now there is some limitations to the basic system as it does not monitor the trunk or hatch depending on the vehicle and the hood leaving them vulnerable to thieves. A pin switch at a minimal reasonable price can be added to ensure that they are integrated into the alarm system.
