2007 Audi Q7 Bluray DVD Player Integration to Factory MMI System
The classy 2007-2008 Audi Q7 lacks the playback of DVD Video while in park. Access 1 Alarm and Audio offers a custom video integration module that allows 3 Audio/Video sources and a rear camera to be displayed on the factory MMI screen.
This option viewed in the photos, incorporated an external Bluray DVD player mounted in the glovebox. Upon being loaded with your movie, the unit can be controlled via a wireless remote control. Since the Audio is a closed loop MOST optical system with no external audio inputs from the factory, an optical audio interface was utilized to enable an audiophile quality audio signal to be generated on the optical system and played throughout the vehicles speakers.
The Bluray DVD player was also incorporated with the aftermarket DVD headrest system allowing for all the screens to display the same movie or 3 different movies.

Further, Viper released a few vehicle specific T-harnesses that allow for up to 70% of the wires to be now plug and play with factory plugs. We just unplug your factory harness, plug it into the Viper harness and the reinsert the Viper harness into your factory plug location.
